Project finance transactions are invariably complex and the time taken to "loan signing" can run into many months, if not years. The transaction itself requires very careful planning in order to achieve the maximum desired results. Many different parties are involved and many different risks and issues need to be analysed by these parties to eventually come up with a finance structure that all are comfortable with.
